Caroline married William Tovey in 1856 and was at full age. It seems that she may have been baptised late and it is uncertain if Mary Ann is actually her mother. According to her marriage certificate she was probably born around 1835. She may have been baptised late because she was not acceptable to an earlier wife of Abraham's. It is also possible that she is not the same Caroline who was married in 1856 who had Abraham Atkins as her father. It is definite that a Caroline Atkins, child of Abraham and sister of Edward Atkins married William Tovey and her son married his cousin.
