Margaret Victoria Wells

  General Notes:

Margaret was called Maggie and died at her home in Edenville. Worked as a dining room girl for Mrs Dow, when Thomas worked as a personal driver for Mr. Dow. She also worked as a cook in the lumber camp and helped run the many stores. The last one was on Water road in Edenville. She also ran the post office there at this location. About 1926 Maggie won a car from Simmon Brother in Midland by purchasing 3 barrels of produce. Each barrel gave her one ticket, one was the winner. Then Will traded the car for a truck to haul the store merchandise.

Margaret married William Thomas Gransden, son of William H Gransden and Mary Ann Elliott, on 22 Feb 1896 in Averill, Midland, Michigan, USA.
