George William Keep

  General Notes:

Educated in the NSW State Schooling system. After his schooling was completed he did an apprenticeship as a boat builder.
In the mid 1920's during the great depression George was out of work and obtained a position as a clerk in the Good Receiving Office of the Broadway Store of Grace Brothers.

George married Doris Emily Lockwood, daughter of George Austin Lockwood and Mabel Elizabeth Barber, on 8 Mar 1930 in Methodist Church, Harrow Rd, Auburn, Nsw, Australia.⁷¹ (Doris Emily Lockwood was born on 22 Apr 1906 in Alfred Stree Granville, NSW, Australia,⁷¹ died on 22 Jun 1992 in Coonabarabran, Nsw, Australia ⁷¹ and was buried in H47b Farden of Sanctity, Crematorium of Leppington, Nsw ⁷¹.)
