(3) Obituary.....The death occurred in Newcastle on November 28 of Mrs.Florence Staines, widow of the late Alfred Staines. Mr. and Mrs.Staines were well known residents of Molong some years ago. Mrs.Staines had been living at Inverell for the past three years and wa holidaying at Newcastle at the time of her death at Wallsend Hospital after a short illness. The late Mrs.Staines is survived by two daughters and two sons. Alf (Carlton), Ethel (Mrs.C.Staines, Inverell), Lloyd (Guildford), Ruth (Mrs.A.Davis, Wallsend). There are ten grand children and four great grand children. A sister, Rose (Mrs.J.Staines, Dubbo) and a brother, Mr.Fred Cole of Bass Hill also survive.
