George Tovey arrived nov 10 1878 it said his parents were deceased and he had an uncle in Parramatta named Edward Atkins. George and Eleanor had a son George Ermington Tovey he married Lillian May Lacy on the 11th feb 1905 at The Parsonage North Parramatta.on the wedding certificate it lists George Tovey as a coach painter .
Death Registration for George claims he has been in Parramatta for 81 years- this would be inconsistant with the arrival stated above but the above arrival is probably correct.
