KILLED BY A TRAM
The death of Alexander Campbell Fieldew Pratt, aged 17 years a teacher, was the subject of an inquiry conducted by the City Coroner yesterday. Deceased was a passenger by a tram to Coogee on the night
of May 7. A little beyond the Cleveland-street stopping he suddenly fell backwards from the car, and was run over by another tram proceeding in the opposite direction. Death was instantaneous. Prior to the accident deceased had given up his seat to a lady passenger. A verdict of accidental death was recorded.
