Neville Townsend

  General Notes:

Served during World War II. Was taken prisoner of war by the Japanese and was held at Changi. He was then part of the forced labour of the Japanese put to building the Burma railway.

Neville married Sheila Doust, daughter of Roy Doust and Frances Elizabeth Balcomb, on 13 Jul 1946 in Canowindra NSW.⁹³⁰ (Sheila Doust was born on 26 Apr 1922 in Canowindra, Nsw, Australia,¹⁵⁵ died on 3 Feb 1998 in Sydney, NSW, Australia ¹⁵⁵ and was buried in Gosford, NSW, Australia ¹⁵⁵.)
