The farm was sold in 1921 and the family moved to Albury, NSW. This school was in operation for over 20 years.

Emily and Bill opened another business located in Victoria Rd, Marrickville- this was the Lafra Chemical Company. Emily and Bill started the business with no capital. The company was in the hands of the Pratt Family for over 50 years and provided work for many people, including a large number of family members.
