In 2005 a Gransden reunion took place in Orange, NSW, Australia. This was mostly devoted to the descendents of Robert Gransden who arrived in Australia some time around 1839-41 and his wife Sophia Gransden nee Hoadley nee Stapley. But other Gransden families attended and it was lovely to see them. Photographs from that reunion can be seen under the Reunion Photographs 2005 link at the top of the page.

In 2010 we plan to run another Gransden Family reunion- place and date to be confirmed at a later stage. At this reunion we hope to get as many Gransdens as we can from as many different branches all around the world. During the next two years I am attempting to write a book about the history of the Gransden family.

To complete this I am asking that anyone who has information to contribute please contact me.

I am after photographs of the different places that the Gransdens have lived in.

Stories about Gransden family members- mostly past as due to the scale of this undertaking I will only be concentrating on the history of the Gransden family not what they are doing presently. That is a task for other researchers.
