bullet  General Notes:

Newspaper. April 1909.
Obituary 1.
We regret to record the death the infant son of Mr and Mrs F.C.Cole, of Redbank, which sad event took place on Thursday of last week. The poor little chap had only reached the age of 17 months--the immediate cause of death was meningitis. He had been sickly from birth, and therefore, though the blow was a hard one to the parents, it was not together unexpected. The body was brought into Molong on Friday, and the interment took place on Saturday, The Rev. Mr Thomas (Methodist), and Capt. Haywood (Salvation Army) officiating at the grave. We extend our sympathies to the bereaved parents.
Obituary 2.
Mr and Mrs Fred Cole, of Redbank, suffered a severe bereavement on Thursday night last through the death of their 17-month old son. The little fellow was one of twins, and had been in a delicate state of health since childbirth. Meningitis was the cause of death.
Obituary 3.
FLOWERS BLOOMING IN HEAVEN AND EARTH.
Death has been very busy with its icy hand in Molong of late, and has left many sad hearts. The majority of its victims have beeen the young. One of them was the only son of Brother Fred and Mrs Cole of Redbank. Little Charlie was but seventeen months old, and was dedicated to God and His service in the Salvation Army some months previously; but God saw fit to take back again early that which He gave. It was very hard , but father and mother breathed "Amen" to His will.
Much sorrow was caused in the home on the 25th of March on account of the loss, but joy sprang up on the 1st of April when the Lord gave back another boy to cheer the saddened hearts.
May God abundantly bless and cheer both father, maother and son.
