(3) Obituary.....The death occurred at the Dubbo Base Hospital on August 16 of Mr.Henry David Cole aged 85 years. He had been in hospital only a short time. The late Mr.Cole was one of a large family and was a son of the late David Cole. He was born at Rockley and came to Molong as a boy. He remained in this district until last December when he moved to Dubbo. His wife (nee Miss Phoebe Pursell) predeceased him by a few years. They had no family. The late Mr.Cole is survived by two sisters and two brothers. Rose (Mrs.J.Staines, Dubbo),
Florrie (Mrs.A.Staines, Inverell), Fred (Lidcombe) and Albert (Adelaide). Six sisters and a brother predeceased him. The funeral was at Dubbo and interment took place in the Church of England portion of the Dubbo cemetary. Mr.C.J. Shakespeare had charge of funeral arrangements.
Henry married Phoebe Susannah Purcell, daughter of Francis Purcell and Anne Machoney, on 28 Apr 1904 in , Molong, New South Wales, Australia.
