Alfred Ernest Bliss
General Notes: In late 1891 early 1892 Alfred looks to have left home as he is recorded as living on the North side of the road at Bentwick Street (now Bentinck Street) in a house described as 3 rooms owned by the Scottish Australian Investment Society. He moved from here in late 1893 as the rates records show he was not here in 1893 and may have moved back with his mother Hannah who was now in a 8 room house on Havannah Street just near the corner where his older brothers George and John Thomas had their brickworks and looks to have worked here as well. In 1903 and 1904 he is recorded as living at 62 Havannah Street which is described as a house 5 rooms which he rented from Frances Grago. In 1905 he moved just a few doors down to 56 Havannah Street, this was owned by John W. Ashworth and was a again described as a house 5 rooms. Then in 1906 he moved to 58 Havannah Street which was another 5 room home owned by Mr. John Ashworth, Alfred was still here in this house in 1907. Alfred married Edith Smith in 1900 in Bathurst, NSW, Australia..567 (Edith Smith was born in 1873 in Penrith, NSW, Australia,567 died on 31 Aug 1938 in Burwood, NSW, Australia 567 and was buried on 2 Sep 1938 in Holy Trinity Church Cemetery, Kelso, NSW, Australia. 567.) |
