bullet General Notes:

The family bible was given to Hannah on the advent of her marriage in 1840, it was given to her by her father, Charles Catley of Bunting Ford, Hammersmith, County London (anecdotal information, Norma Watson). Hannah's father, however is identified on her death certificate as George Cately, a veterinary surgeion. The bible was given to William Watson, when he married Mary Ann Witney/Whitney.

Sacred to the memory of Joseph Watson who died August 2nd 1871 aged 26 years and 1 day. Also sacred to the memory of the 1st Hannah beloved wife, sacred to the memory of Joseph Watson Snr who died 18 Feb 1890 Aged 75 years.

Hannah married Joseph Watson, son of Joseph Watson and Frances, on 14 Nov 1840 in Adelaide SA, Australia.²⁶⁴ (Joseph Watson was born on 22 Mar 1814 in Windy Nook, Northumberland, England ⁴⁷, christened on 17 Apr 1814 in Newcastle-On-Tyn, Northumberland,⁴⁷ died on 18 Feb 1890 in 4 Frederick St, Petersham New South Wales, Australia ²⁶⁵ and was buried on 20 Feb 1890 in Rookwood, New South Wales, Australia ²⁶⁵.). The cause of his death was Morbus Cordis- possibly gangrene.

By me Thos B. Howard? Both Joseph and Hannah signed their own names, witnesses are unclear but it looks like Goldsome and Jane Morway.
