On March17,1920 Agnes was on her way home from seeing her doctor in Midland and was riding as a passenger when the auto was involved in a accident on old US 10 near Averill. She died the next day from injuries received in the accident. The car involved in the accident was driven by her daughter-in-law Nell Gransden.
Agnes married Thomas Gransden, son of Thomas William Gransden and Elizabeth Ann Aikens, on 9 Nov 1883. (Thomas Gransden was born on 10 Nov 1850 in , Canada, died on 26 Feb 1926 in Edenville, Midland, Michigan, USA and was buried on 26 Feb 1926 in Edenville, Midland, Michigan, USA.)
