Educated by the NSW state school system. Attended the Rosehill Public School when the family lived at Good Street- Granville.

Lived with her husband in Paddington and then moved to Casino and Kyogle. In Casino their only child was born. Bill taught Art, Violin and Piano, he directed the Casino Symphony Orchestra. Linda and Bill seperated during WW1. Linda returned to Sydney in 1916 and worked in her mothers business at Bondi until it was sold in 1927. Linda stayed with the family at Harris Park until 1951 when Emma died.

Linda spent some time doing odd housekeeping jobs and lived in Auburn with her long time friend Lennie Champion. When Lennie passed away linda moved to a house in Illawong Street Granville which belonged to another friend Gabriel Britton. Linda lived here until she died.
