Melva Evelyn Florence Gransden

 General Notes:
Mrs. Emily Irvine was the postmistress until the Gransdens took over the premisis, sometime in the early 1920's. Mr A. H. Gransden became postmaster and after his death, Mrs. Gransden was appointed, 1 August, 1926. She was assisted by her daughters Myrtle, Melva and Millie. After Mrs. Gransden died, Miss Melva Gransden was appointed on 1 March, 1930. her sister, Miss Millie Gransden, who had always assisted, became postmistress on 1 January, 1940 when Melva married.
On 1 December,1942 Mrs. Bessie Streeter succeeded Millie Gransden who also left to be married.
